Electrogene is a puzzle platformer, where you are introduced a team of little lamp characters, who's mission is to carry the lightbulbs on top of their heads and get them to their designated places within levels such as sockets expanding the level after being placed. The Lamp introduces more unique features such as being able to melt (Destroy) elements in the game or Light up their surroundings in the black mists of the world around them showcasing moving/ static obstacles and platforms that lay around Electrogene's.
The Game Introduces two different concepts of a story mode and survival, on which both have its unique set of properties and functions within the world scene that they are taking place.
Find Sockets to place the lightbulbs, parkour and puzzle your way out of the maze of obstacles to keep Electrogene's proceeding further.
- In story mode you have no time Limit, no maximum failures you are open to explore and test out each mechanic in the game as you please and when you please, though the main focus is to Fill out all the Sockets with the fastest Time Frame and proceed to the ending door completing the level and getting introduced the next maze.
Survival mode is an excellent game mode to play, as you only have to move forward as much as possible from Randomly generated 8 Levels, where the aim of the Player is to achieve as well as move forward as long as possible giving them a high score to beat, which is displayed in the main Menu of the game when survival mode is highlighted.
What I love about Survival Mode is that it offers me to focus on going on a forward momentum while expanding my previous highscore.
The Concept of the game is awesome and I do hope that the development is continued, while having the potential to be a great Pc as well as Console, Mobile game by its design.
